We understand the unique challenges that come with single parenting in the areas of parenting, finances and relationships, and our mission is to provide a nurturing community where you can find encouragement, hope and practical assistance.
Since 2014, SPIN has been serving single parents and their families. Our ministry works with local churches, businesses and individuals to provide a supportive network of fellow single parents and volunteers in the Souhegan Valley. We assist parents in accessing local resources and provide financial assistance for certain needs. Join us for our monthly meetings, where you can connect with other single parents and share experiences, and receive valuable insight and encouragement. Once you’re a part of SPIN, you’re never alone.

We believe that everyone has something to offer and if you would like to get involved and volunteer with SPIN please contact us for more information. Our needs vary depending on the parents and the seasons, but some of the ways you can get involved are listed below. If many are willing to share their resources, then together, we can do wonders to meet the needs of our parents.
- Volunteer at monthly SPIN meetings: provide childcare, set up and tear down.
- Prepare meals for families.
- Provide child care in parents’ homes.
- Perform handyman tasks around the house: minor repairs, shoveling, raking, mowing, etc.
- Provide auto repairs: oil changes, routine maintenance, minor repairs.
- Donate cash for specific needs; all needs reviewed and approved by the SPIN board.
- Speak at monthly SPIN meetings on a specific subject to offer help and support to single parents.
- Assist parents with housework.
- Encourage and support parents in any way that you can!
