A list of local area organizations who offer support services to individuals and families in need

Welcome to our local resource hub for single parents seeking support and assistance.

Navigating the challenges of single parenthood can be overwhelming, but you’re not alone. There are a number of resources in our local area to help you thrive, including support agencies for financial assistance, food support, housing aid, and childcare.

We encourage you to reach out and connect with these organizations to explore the support available to you. Whether you need immediate help or long-term guidance, our goal is to ensure you have the tools and resources to provide stability for you and your family.

If you are in doubt about where to start, call 211, which is New Hampshire’s statewide referral service. Explain your need and they will direct you accordingly.

Bridges – Domestic & Sexual Violence Support (bridgesnh.org)

We are a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We are a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Bridges offers crisis intervention, support groups, court advocacy and housing. Advocates provide emotional support and information for survivors of domestic and sexual violence through our 24-hour support line. An advocate is available in person at our offices, 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, no appointment necessary. Advocates can also meet survivors at the hospital, police department, or court.
